A return to The World Service Tour - their best selling album! Twenty-five years on - they're still touring and, if previous Duchess shows are anything to go by, better than ever. Rising from the grave of bleak post-punkers Theatre of Hate, singer/guitarist Kirk Brandon and bassist Stan Stammers' brand of goth-rock encompassed romantic, poetic lyrics set to dark, slow chants smothered in atmosphere and dry ice. Oh, and they rocked like bastards as well. As well as Brandon, the all-star line of SOD now features drummer Robin Goodridge (Bush), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy/The Mission) on bass and Adrian Portas (New Model Army) on guitars. World Service is generally regarded as their triumph and fans can expect tracks from the album, live favourites and a stack of Spear and Theatre Of Hate classics. And, of course, new album "Omega Point" is out soon! He's leaving on a fast train; don't ask him when he's going to be back again ...
